Re: Android on HD2 Updates!

Just try again, its very beta and definitely picky...you shouldnt have to pull your battery, just soft reset and it'll go back to Windows...

Re: Android on HD2 Updates!

The desire build is definitely smooth and much more stable than the build that was available on the 11th. In your first post Orangekid you said that data and voice work but I cannot get either to work. Keep getting an error saying connect to network although I have searched, found and connected to TMO. Tried calling voicemail and it locked up the phone when the screen went blank.

I had to put the T-Mobile APN in myself to get DATA to work.

sometimes you have to flash a new radio too.

Try a 2.10.5.xx and see if that works any better for you.

Re: Android on HD2 Updates!

Is there still no audio in calls? I have got data to work and can send/receive texts but when I call I can't hear. I know on the wiki at xda it says there still is no audio but wondering if you guys have it. Flashed to a 2.10 radio as well.

calls work for some but not others. There is so much variance right now it's hard to say "do this it will work"

but calls do work for some. I would just flash another radio version and extract haret again, or wait for a better build.

yeah try it out, when it works it's pretty fun. I got the desire build running like a beast, it's like having an Evo.

Re: Android on HD2 Updates!

Go into wireless settings. I did network selection and made sure it connected to t-mobile. Then go under access point names and set that up. Should be named T-mobile data, address is epc.tmobile.com, and all other fields should be blank. There are a couple that will autoconfigure once it has been setup and connected. Should automatically connect but you may have to uncheck then recheck wireless network to refresh the connections.
