note app that backsup??
 

I'm coming from a Blackberry situation and am used to keeping my notes app on backup so when I do any restores etc I get my info back. This is where I store several key data. Right now on the Samsung Fascinate (rooted) I can't seem to save my notes so I'm using a txt file in dropbox.

What I really want is a note/memo app that will save/backup the data I put into it. I use Titanium and Mybackup Root as well as Lookout but nothing seems to save the data in my notes. Ideas?

I've been using an app called MobIsleNotes (search Market) that has a backup function built in. Backs up automatically on start and exit, also allows manual backups to SD. Starts notes in checklist (to do) or plain text form. It's a little primitive compared to the MS note programs I'm more used to using but it might work for you. There's also a pay Pro version that could possibly do even more.

THanks guys I'll try those out. I was trying to avoid the dropbox route simply because I don't want to rely only on web based backup.


EDIT: I tried out the mobislenotes and its perfect! simple quick interface with easy backup. Thanks for the suggestion!

Mobislenotes can also back your notes google docs so now you can print it on any pc you signed into.

Notepad is nice and simple. But its Export-To-SD-Backup seems to be manual.
Mobislenotes does it automatically. And the Google Docs feature that montecristo1 just pointed out makes it a real winner.
