Wifi Tether on rooted evo

I just rooted my 2.2 evo and it worked perfect. The problem I am having now is the wifi tethering is not working correctly. When wifi tether starts both my mac and windows computers connect to it but the internet connection does not work. I have tried everything and it connects but no data. Can anyone help? Thanks

Is it possible to free tether on a rooted Evo using android-wifi-tether at 4g speeds in a 4g market?

Re: Wifi Tether on rooted evo

Hello,

I just rooted my EVO w/2.2.
Running up to pre10. Get the tether, but no internet.
I know my phone did a software update 2 days ago.
Could Sprint have gotten up a new blocker?

Any ideas apprec...

Actually, I just down graded to pre7 and its working there. When I get some more time, I will test each next version to see where it craps out...
