Do you guys pay extra to be able to use it on your phone? Last time I used it it was free and now they want me to pay 3.99/month which is uncalled for.

Re: Problem with Sirius App and EVO 4G with Froyo?

every now and then I'll get a message saying I'll have to pay the extra $2.99. I will just log in and I'm never charged.

Its always something with this app. I guess another call needs to be made to them...
Did you ever contact Sirius?

I contacted them and the funny part is the agent had the same problem on her phone. She said she hasn't heard of a fix so I canceled my mobile plan for now.

Re: Problem with Sirius App and EVO 4G with Froyo?

I'm not sure if there is a post somewhere, but the Sirius App for the Evo is fixed. I just updated my phone and it works fine. For those that need it, here goes:

You need your MSL#

then enter ##3282#

then hit the advanced tab

scroll to the bottom and at http: proxy port and enter 0 (zero)

then the http address right under that should now be 0.0.0.0.

do this and your Sirius should work. Again I apologize if this is out there, but I just did this about 30 mins ago.

I can attest that it does work after this fix. If you contact sprint tech support on another phone than your, they can push the fix to your phone or they'll give you your MSID over the phone with the instructions he posted. You canceled you XM/Sirius online subscription a tad too quick..lol... Guys the extra cost to be able to listen online while in your home or your office is great. Then to have it on your phone for working out or walking the dog it's priceless. Especially at price of a 2 liter soda...lol.
