I turn my phone off (usually just pull the battery) probably 10 times a week, as that dang battery does NOT last long enough, and I have to swap it 1-3 times many days just to get through the day.
However, despite this, one a week or once every two weeks, my phone stops ringing or delivering other notifications when the screen is off, until the phone is turned back on. I have no idea why. This also leads me to reset the phone.
