i don't have a spare TP (unless i count my son's and now that he's taller than i am, he may not let me mess with it) to try different roms with so if i want to do that, i have to change mine. and yes, it sucks because i have everything installed i want and it's running perfectly.

Someone else was having the EXACT same problem as you, and we got it working for him finally... please try ONE more time, following these steps:

1. Remove the battery for a bit, then put it back in.
2. Bring the phone into the Bootloader (Power+VolDown+Reset).
3. Connect the USB.
4. Run the flash utility to flash the phone.
5. When it reaches 100% and resets, disconnect the USB.
6. Remove the battery for a bit, then put it back in.
7. Hard reset the phone (Power+VolDown+OK+Reset)
8. Let it run through customization.
9. Pray.
