There is POP access for Sprint mail and it's probably easier than you think.

I work for Sprint and had to set it up on a 6700 yesterday.
Also, if you really want good results, set it up to forward to the Exchange server that they talk about here in the Forums at Mail2Web. Works like a charm!!
