Not sure about the radio, I am running 3.42.40 and had .50, never noticed a problem between signal from stock.

There is a tool to switch the rom to high memory mode (should be in the system control panel, kernel tool I think).

The problem with this is it will disable the camera, if you want to use it again, you need to change it back to low mem mode, and soft reset your phone.

It should free up a few extra meg of memory....

Also, close programs when you are done with them, as it will free up memory, in the top left hand corner there is the HTC task manager, click on it, then the wrench, button tab, then check "End programs by tapping X".

That should help...

or, do your homework and create your own rom, stripping out what you don't want...like I am doing now (the information is out there, you just gota search for it)
