Re: Using a GPS with no internet

I hated how TomTom forced you to have the entire US/Canadian map on your SD card. I got Garmin because the program it came with allowed you to select which sections of the map (by state or radius) you wanted. I only ever use the roads in NYC and Boston and sometimes in between so all those maps take up only around 60mb, leaving more room for music and other media. Has TomTom changed that in the recent version?
