Try to reflash with another ROM. Perhaps a newer version of what you are using, or just the last version. If you are a default rom kind of person, just flash whatever the carrier you have has available.

I've had this happen once to me. Slow phone, not able to get into some programs and "No Service". Reflashed and we are good now. Not sure why this occurred.
