I noticed less lag. I text alot and I am pretty fast on the kb and it does a "better" job of keeping up with me when I'm typing. Give it a shot and see if you can tell a difference. Maybe it's just me, but I've had better results since I implemented this tweak.
On a side note, this keeps the on screen keyboard from ever popping up, in opera, sms, email, etc but is there if you ever need it, unlike the nullkb which sets the input to a blank entry. Very inconvenient if you use the SIP keyboard every now and again. Drove me crazy when I clicked in the address bar while in landscape mode and the stupid kb popped up. |
I'll try this tweak for the lag help, because who doesn't need that, but more-so for stopping the pop-up keyboard. I HATE IT! Thanks man.
