Re: Diamond2/TopazC on Sprint? Any hope?

I think you guys are blowing this out of proportion. Even if they do not release the Diamond 2, I think we will see a touchscreen device that will replace the Diamond even if they have a few months without it. Perhaps they reacted as some of us here did to the Diamond 2. It is essentially just a bigger screen and slightly better camera. If they come out with something Tegra or Snapdragon based in q1 next year, I am happy they did not get the d2. I think the idea of leaving Sprint for that small of an upgrade is ridiculous.

A few other observations on this thread:
1. Sure Sero is great, but if Sprint ants to stay afloat they can't just continue to give away service, and if you price the major carrier, the service is still cheaper than the others.
2. I don't they have illusion that the Instinct is a premier touch screen device. They may have when it first came out, but they have virtually sifted all focus to the Pre and the Instinct is not getting near as much advertising.
3. The facts are, they can only have a limited amount of devices, and eventually there are going to be devices that are dropped but they will be replaced by something else. Afterall, the new android based Hero is allegedly coming to Sprint, as well as a cdma/wimax based Samsung.
