Thanks!!
Install a black dialer. The slider to lock is S2U2 should be several versions running around the software forum.

I have searched this thread for three days now and I am lost. I see several themes but no way to download them. I've read references to "no curtain" cabs and "transparent sliders" and have no idea what these things are. I just want to create my own theme now and hopefully achieve the look that I want for my phone.

Please help!!
You can get the touchflo3dconfig which allows you to change ".theme" files you can also install bits/pieces or whole themes by unzipping/copy/pasting peritnent manila files into your phone's windows directory
you can use a cab install to set up themes.

OR you can do your own creation using cfcgui editor which extracts manila graphics then you create your own and reinstert to the manila file via the program and move to your phone (program is a one stop shop other than actually creating editing the graphic file. then you can further manipulate if you dare using the Mode9 editor to control the layouts of certain pages but it gets tricky!
cfcgui editor here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=470798 (yes its in diamond forum but its for all manilas)
Mode9 editor here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=464984

That is a mode9 file you'll want to use the editor linked above... and point your font to something else.. the files are tricky to edit though. the file you need is 1c684cd8_manila

EDIT>> Oops didn't look at the screen shot, I just assumed it was the tf3d screen. Ignore my suggestion for the font!
