I turn mine off every night. There's no cellular service at all at my house, so phones spend all their time searching for a signal and draining their batteries. The battery will last for days if I turn it off at night, or about 18 hours if I don't. Yes, I could plug it in to synch and charge all night, but I prefer to keep charge cycles to a minimum. I end up having to soft reset when the phone freezes once or twice a day anyway, so figure doing a power cycle can't hurt.
