idk if this has already been posted...did a quick search and i found no threads, so jus fyi for the people that are having trouple tethering with your mogul on metro peep it. this is something ive been trying on and off to do but its rather simple...so simple a caveman can do it.
make sure you have internet on your phone ofcourse
start up comm manager and click your internet sharing button thingy lol
click connect on the lower left hand corner
wait for phone to say check usb connection
then connect phone to usb and usb to computer (should say connected)
open up firefox
once open go to tools> options> advanced> network
under network click settings
select manual proxy config
under http proxy type
wap.metropcs.net [port:] 3128
then check off "use this proxy server for all protocols"
then wave your hands around the computer and chant presto chango interneto
idk if this will effect the output but fyi:
i had active sync off
was using ryan's mogul rom for metropcs...going back to my dcd w/touchflo to try it
could have just wasted typing time and posted something tht was already posted or something that everyone alread knows...srry if so...
