Mogul wifi speed
I must say... I'm impressed!
I never thought it was possible to net 600KB/sec on a PocketPC!
I'm trying to calibrate the battery by running it full three full charge/discharge cycles... but the battery life on this thing is insane... so I have resorted to desparate measures to kill it before I go to bed.
1) I turned the backlight on 100% of the time
2) I turned the backlight on full blast
3) I turned on bluetooth
4) I turned on wifi
5) I turned wifi settings up to maximum performance
6) I've now downloaded a 90MB file off Microsoft's server 3 times... working on the 4th.
But watching this go, its averaging about 500KB/sec. That's damn impressive. Half my connection speed!
Makes me wonder if the Rev A upgrade really WILL let the device download at the max speeds when the network is available to do so.
