hmm, maybe you could run a script at boot that changes those reg settings back. I've seen others do this before, but I forget exactly how they did it. Anyone?'
Edit: oh, one thing. Are you waiting long enough after you make the reg change and soft reset? If you do it too quick it will not stick.
