I searched and searched and finally found this so i know how you feel. I am uploading from my phone so unfortunatly i can't give credit where it is due cuz i don't recall where i got it.
(edit) So I've decided to stop using this because for some unknown reason, it removes the facebook tab from the contacts screen. Perhaps there is another cab that doesn't have this problem.
