Pretty surprising actually, I thought the enthusiasm would have died down since the Omnia II's release (and I figured anyone who knew anything about the Omnia with it's non-existent advertising) would have been looking forward to that. Whatever. It gets more attention than I thought it would have!
And LOL at the guy calling the Impression, Versa and Alias 2 smartphones and then docking them for not having email and WiFi - hello, they're featurephones! Just goes to show you how reputable CNET is.
And people buy iPhones because they "just work" - or that's what they think - or because they sync with iTunes or because it has pretty screen transitions. Although seriously, an iPhone owner doesn't have to worry about configuring the registry or having to deal with apps that don't fit the screen resolution properly or that don't work when the screen is rotated. I can deal with that stuff fairly easily and have a MUCH better phone all around - for me, at least. I certainly wouldn't recommend an Omnia to a non-technical user.
