Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about, though the problem manifests itself in very strange and sporadic ways. I spent a week TSing this to isolate it to Savage 4.5, as I had switched from Merdin when Calk released 21812.

You can't save your sound settings and get "file can't be found or corrupt" but they do indeed play in WMP or Kinoma.

All I can say is try cooking your ROM w/Merdin or Savage v1.0 and you will see the issue goes away. My guess is its somehow related to bot Tachi and Savage being ported fro Rhodium, and some memory address gets whacked enough to cause the issue on BOTH Diamond and TP. I have a TP and I was frustrated as heck by this problem as the root cause for sound issues being tied to a SIP was the last thing I would have looked for or thought could created the problem
