I did both, and perfection! I had totally forgotten about that polling option. I had modified it in another rom ages ago, but totally forgot about it. Phone has been off the charger for a few hours now, texting and email and other items, and its only down to 94 percent. Normally I'd be at 83ish within a few hours.
