Makes sense. Everyone else has an update out for their Touch Pro. Verizon, AT&T, US Cellular... Sprint is the only odd one out of the bunch and my theory is the same. They are lagging because they are testing WM 6.5 on the device as an official release.
It would give them some edge to over Verizon and AT&T as their Touch Pro will have an official 6.5 release. It might also allow them to sell the TP and the TP2 at the same time. As it is possible they will target the TP2 as a "world phone" and the TP as the domestic brother.
Either way I can see Sprint doing a 6.5 and it makes a lot of sense for them to do and for us to enjoy as well. Not all of us are interested in the TP2.
