Re: [ROM] <!-- Psyki 3 - Build 090528 --!> Custom Rhodium Manila [21046 WM6.1]

Battery charging.
OK I have been doing some testing with charging the battery and I have a few suggestions/questions. First off I have to say this is a great ROM, I have tried almost everything on this board but this seems to be the fastest Kudos!!!
First let me say that I am sorry if this has already been discussed, I couldn't find anything.

So my normal routine is to plug in my phone every night and have it ready for the next day. Well I noticed that if I unplug my phone and plug it back in when I get up it will charge for about another 30 to 40 min and the battery will last way longer throughout the day. Has anyone else noticed this?

So my theory is that the battery finishes charging pretty quickly and then shuts down the charging circuit. Once this happens it never turns back on until you unplug/re-plug the phone charger into the phone. So the phone is sitting there most of the night wearing the battery down so when you unplug it in the AM it doesn't actually have a full charge. This obviously is just a theory and there could be other forces at work here but anyway..

So with that in mind, is it possible create a program that will reset the charging circuit at a scheduled time? this way the phone would be fully charged when I need it instead of having to manually cycle the power connection.

I posted this here because I'm not really sure which battery/charging mods you have in place and what little tricks could be done to effect this "sudo" problem

Edit: maybe a simple soft reset at a scheduled time each morning would do what I need, as long as it doesn't compromise my alarms.
