I'm using half a dozen different wall chargers and a couple different car chargers with no problem whatever, and I've had my Vogue since it debuted Nov 4. 2007. Some are rated 5.0, some 5.5 volts. Some have current ratings at 0.5 amps (500 ma), some 1 amp. My Sprint Touch likes them all.

I'm thinking people with problems are maybe not cleaning the pocket fuzz out of their phone's mini-USB socket. I use a small soft bristle brush that came with my electric shaver to keep Vogue's USB port clean, and a light touch of vasoline every now and then on cable's USB metal housing. Just keep in mind that lint at contact points causes an electrical resistance that results in both phone and charger going heywire!
