Well, I got the SDHC card today and other than only one card reader in the house being able to read/write to it under XP... it works great
The PPC under r8 is seeing it as just under 4 gig. WM5storage is able to read and write to it as well. So all looks to be good and PR8 is ready to go!
I am uploading the File now and will update the first post of this thread with the details when done.
