Same things happens when I just go to "all people", find who I want to call, then press on their number to dial it.

Thats because this version of juicy doesnt include the newly ported phone canvas that manila needs to do all the above. download this
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=70574 and install the cab & it should fix anything contact related.
About editing the contacts i have the same problem but dont have a solution.
