You've got a good point. The browser on my HTC Touch is pretty bad, even opera. Therefore i tether my connection to my laptop for a much better browsing experience. Though with the great browser on the pre, it won't be so bad.
I might just take the plunge now and hope that a 3rd party app comes out soon.
