google maps is actually very good for quick lookups, and can be used in conjunction with a GPS connection to find points of interest near you as well...absolutely no reason to uninstall it, just learn how to use it...it's a great free app...Sprint Nav is also capable of helping you with points of interest, and also turn by turn routing...google apps can help you with directions and track you with a little blue ball, but you follow the ball on a map...it's not true turn-by-turn like Sprint Nav...but like the previous poster said, they each have their strengths and do not conflict with one another in any way...
