Video messaging is tricky because the server we are using to send picture's back and forth is very picky on what is sent over it. When you record your video, do not use the actual MMS Video portion of your camera, instead goto your camera seperatly, and use the regular video portion, but you have to change some settings first.
Go into your camera settings, and on the regular video, change the size to medium, leave it on mp4 format, and set a 250KB size limitation. The reason for the limitation is that because Alltel has a 300KB limitation, and 250 is as close as you can set it to 300. This trick worked for me, but only on the Alltel Motorola Razr. I don't really do video much, so I have yet to test it much. Me, and a couple of other's from PPCGeeks are working on getting a copy of the MMS software off of the new Alltel 6800 WM6 so we can use it instead of the old Verizon software. So when we can get this done, maybe, just maybe, it'll have a whole bunch on new camera settings that are more compatible, as well as use the actual server we are supposed to be using that shouldn't be as picky...
Stop by PPCGeek's chatroom sometime, I stay in there alot. I'll keep you posted, maybe I'll get a chance to work on video this week...
