Same problem here. After device lock and backlight turns off, and pressing the power on butten, seeing the slide-to-unlock button only for a few seconds. TF3D2 slider bar works, but start and other softkeys won't. Pressing power button twice (backlight off->backlight on) gives slider bar back and quickly unlock gives full control again.
Didn't notice this problen in Titanium though.
Also when the device lock has been activated it works fine.
My observation is that when using TF3D2 and the slide lock screen appears after pressing the power button, it is refreshing the icon bar on top. It Refreshes putting the start menu in place. Then the slide unlock screen will change for the TF3D2 screen, with the mentioned problems.
I hope I have given enough info for the developers to come up with a fix
