I was thinking.... If I could hard-reset my phone, and correctly interrupt the auto-configure installation, then I would have a ROM that is "clean" as far as not having the Sprint MMS added.

I could now somehow modify the cab that would install all the custom stuff so that SprintMMS is not installed. This is pretty much the only non-flash way I can think of that would not have Sprint MMS installed by default...

The method that you are thinking of doing to have a clean rom ONLY works on the GSM version of the touch pro or fuze. If you want a clean rom, you're going to need to flash it. Most of the things that sprint includes are like sprint tv, sprint pic mail, sprrint tf3d, and other microsoft programs like office, activesync, and notes. If you choose to flash to a new rom that doesn't include these things. Look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=446652. DONT FLASH THIS ROM BECAUSE IT IS FOR GSM but the cabs work on all phones, as long as they arent AT&T specific programs. For sprint pic mail and sprint tv, look at http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=52546 at post #3 and #4
