Re: When do you Hard reset after a new flash?

I never do the extra hard reset on any device after flashing a rom and I don't have any issues at all. Doing so shouldn't hurt anything and if it makes you happy, have fun. From an electrical engineering standpoint, there is no valid reason to do so when the flashing process already performs a wipe. From a programming standpoint, again, no valid reason for doing so.

I figure, if it makes you happy, go for it. Given the MTBF for flash memory on these devices, you won't over write to it in the time period you'll keep your phone anyway.

Just remember, just because it's written on a public forum doesn't necessarily mean it's true based on factual information. In the 1300's the earth was flat too.
