You could probably just weigh out all your salt etc and use the weights rather than tsp/tblsp measurements and then just measure your flower in a cup like it says to do.

Edit: imo the balance idea is terrible. Our screens can read sensitivity for touch, it would just be a matter of converting between the measurements. I'd rather not spill my stuff or have to stand on 1 leg and balance a scale while whistling dixie etc.
