I haven't been paying much attention to that port, would you happen to have a link to that thread.
As for the dialer, I've downloaded it but didn't had time to actually tested so..

Yeah I got a fixed today, would start to work on the ROM as soon as possible, I still have to set up my Kitchen, again!
