Re: Speereo Voice Launcher 1.0 released

Yup, I remember your experience, Stephen. What else can I add? Sh#t happenz.
You can download CAB file and get rid of any unistallation issues.
I am not the coder, I provide feedback and link R&D with users.
All issues are sent to them, but I can not guarantee that everything works right. By the way, 99% of Support questions come from WM users (we also have Symbian & Java apps), so maybe, just maybe it's not only Speereo's problem, but also MS poor APIs right?
That's why my post "sounds" like a beta. That's why I give it for free cuz issues are always possible.
I had personal experience with 2 phones - HP WM 5.0 with QWERTY & GSmart WM 6.1 with numeric keyboard.
Everything works like a charm. The only thing I needed to set up is short button press for floating bar and long button press for recognition. Make sure you unbinded default key setting in WM options.

So the link works then?

1. Set floating bar to short key tap. It looks like horizontal bar. You can see it under time & date on the screenshot:

Set long button press for recognition.
The recognition process is indicated by the phrase "SpRec: Mic On" on the top of the screen (instead of the word "Start").
You have to say the command with active Mic On status.
This SpRec: Mic On can change in 2 ways.
1 (wrong). "SpRec: <Short" indicates that the press wasn't long enough and the recognition process hadn't been started. Whatever you said, you haven't been heard by the system.
2. (right) "SpRec: Recognizing" means that the engine works properly. If you have said something and no app was started try raising the MIC Sensivity level in MW settings.

Please post your device model, so I can provide feedback and/or test.
