Unless MS has changed something recently, the primary Contacts folder is the only one synced through Active Sync - it's been that way since my first ppc in the last century (old timer coughs noisily). And of course that's why I went to categories rather than contact folders to make those classifications that you do with folders. Now with MS completely destroying 10 years of category development with one fell swoop in Outlook 2007, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do.
Pocket Informant might provide a way to sync multiple contact folders, but I kind of doubt it since it is so category-focused.
