I have tried out that cab - unfortunatley not very useful. The volume app NFSFAN had on his 6.1 ROM had a tab for Sytem and Phone volume, could be controlled via the volume buttons on the device - and would play nice with the HTC video player.. The one on Cody's faq seems to be an early version of this? I dunno...
