Why do you have to install the .40 before stock?
are you trying to relock it?
if so, search imcokeman's thread that you found the unlocker in,
it should contain the information to relock considering he was the one that wrote the unlocker and made it have relock protection(2.31 version)
If you're just reflashing to stock before flashing to another custom rom to eliminate problems, you do not need to reunlock with .40
