Second of all, for the price that they're gonna retail it at, I'm gonna go out on limb here and say $499 - $600 EASY!!(If you disagree, look how much the AT&T Tilt retailed for and look at that phone) For a NEW customer AND/OR with a 2 yr agreement(unless its time for your udgrade), you may be able to get it for $300+ maybe a little lower if they do it like they did the i910 and slap a "promotional discount" on top. It all depends on what the market is like for other carriers/phones. Also, yeah yeah its "HD" so what the flip! Im pretty sure that is a nice fancy little feature that enhances vids and all but with all the usage it'll need, your batt life would prolly suck ***! Therefore, a low budget camcorder or a digital camera with about the same features would suffice. Don't get too caught up in the HD hype, right yet. Besides, with Blackberry dropping the Storm 2, its gonna be competition out there.

Congrats on your new Omnia!!
Thirdly, those **** reps only know what they are "told" by God-knows-who. When you start listening to them nutshells, it becomes a 'he-say-she-say' ordeal. And chances are, IF you were to return it, Im thinking they aren't gonna give you another phone without you paying full retail or a major price difference. Verizon can be real technical about that.
P.S. - I'd "brick" it, return it and just tell them you don't want THAT phone or the same issue again and DEMAND another one, perhaps the i8910.
