Re: Custom Splash Screens

[quote=Negrito;938531]Very cool. I have a 2.4 Penryn Blackbook (4gb ram and 500gb 7200rpm seagate hd)

Not sure if you have the fire and smoke automated somehow, but you may want to look into the plugin. You are oviously capable of doing it, but the plug in may save you some time. Just a thought.

Great work though. I cant wait to get back into college. So i can learn how to really edit in PS, instead of always having to search out tutorials, or play with buttons until i get the desired effect.

Thanks, yeah, I want to upgrade my HD but..... I really don't want to take the whole thing apart to do it, lol. Done it before, why o why can't they just make it easy to take the HD out, lol. Yeah that plugin would have made my life easier, but..... I can do it for free, lol. PS isn't even my thing actually, I am actually a PC/MAC Technician/IT Professional. I just happen to be descent at PS. And thanks for the great work comment. It took probably a total of 10 hours on that one and thats without the initial mockups. But if you want it done right, it takes time. Also by doing it with out the plugins, it makes it easier to edit between the layers. Cuz doing by hand, I have lots more control. Yea, tutorials r definately great, best place to start out, sometimes they just leave a little out and your like what?.......

EDIT: My only complaint is I don't want to pay for CS4 so i'm stuck with CS3, lol. CS4 has some extra cool GIF animation stuff goin on
