They probably think that their entry in the touch-only segment is the Instinct (and its successors).
Sprint clearly thinks the Instinct is something special, worthy of forcing all Instinct customers to their Simply Extravagant Plans, whereas all I see in the Instinct is yet another touch screen featurephone like the FIVE that Verizon has (e.g. Voyager, Dare, Glyde, Versa, Krave) that VZW allows on $15/mo data options.
Sprint won't even offer the Omnia...
Sprint seems to be all about REDUCING the number of choices... reducing plan choices, reducing phone choices... sad really...

i cant bit my lip on this one....
if uve ever worked a cell store you'd know the majority of customers r confused by complex plans that dont include this or that and all these add on features...
sprint has made it simple and less expensive. the same plan i have would cost me $40 bucks more then it does now...not to mention how verizons TP was tricked outwith less equipment but is still more expensive. WTF?
and i hear ya on how sprint isnt planning on offering the D2....and they arent...look they are a business here are some facts....
the TP is sold 15,000 a week compared to a measly 3,000 diamonds...why would sprint invest all their money in a phone that theyre going to lose on....face it were the minority here.
oh yes and i am one that is disappointed about the D2 not coming to sprint. but i do appreciate the thing i have and the TP2 as well as the Pre are two phones i would be satisfied with.
