Might be a good chance to go back to the HTC menu enhancements. I've been really happy with 900 sized 6.5 menus though.

Yeah, it works very well, just make sure you install the fixes for the appropriate cab you install. Check this post for the fixes:

I built the fixes into the cab so I don't have to keep importing the fix.
