It only looks for ringtones in that specific folder because you can have so much much different music and sounds that it would just be wiser looking at the one folder than opening every folder and finding all that extra stuff. Since you flashed the leaked rom, why not flash to a cooked rom and have about 2-4 times more space in your device?
