Thanks guys! The explore option had been tried before, but it is a little different on the desktop than I expected ... I can't go "up" from the initial "My Documents" as I had tried, have to double click on "My Windows Mobile" instead. Up works on the phone. So that is great. Thanks for pointing out how "blind I am".

Re changing size sent, I now understand that and can switch as needed.

Re RAR ... I use my phone for work, and they frown on unregistered shareware; I've not found a free client, and WinZIP meets my needs and is registered.
