The Comm port on the PC is just to tell QPST what port the phone is on.

Comm 4 on the Device is telling the device what Comm Port the GPSone chip is on.

Funny I didnt even think of that, that it would confuse some. So yeah, they are 2 totally different things.

When configuring the GPS settings on the phone u will always use Comm 4, always. those will be settings on the phone that u change on the phone.

When connectiong th phone to the PC to edit the GPSone settings using QPST, the comm port that windows auto-assigns to the device is unpredictable, thats why we check the device manager.
