I love these people that think that since they own a PDA that there is no way their phone could be liquid damaged because of its price tag. This lady just came in with a Diamond that wasn't charging and that had obvioulsy been dropped in coke or some sort of cola(was still wet when I opened it up). I told her what she needed to do to get it replaced and her response was this:
"This is like a 500 dollar phone, theres no way it would be liquid damage and besides that the manufacturer should cover it because its obviously a poor design if it got liquid damage without me even knowing. If you dont just swap it out I'm gonna go to Verizon because they would help their customers."
I just laughed to myself and handed her Diamond back and told her to do whatever would best suit her needs, but that she was welcome to file an insurance claim and get her 549 dollar phone replaced for 100 dollars through Asurion. The ol' threaten the technician with you switching to Verzion trick never works....I'm a Sprint tech btw.
