???How to??? TTY Mode for Hearing Impaired
My roommate's grandfather (papa) is hearing imapried. He called me for the first time the other night through a relay service, there's an operator that types what you say and he reads it on a screen (for those who don't know what relay service is). Papa has a cellphone but can't hear what you say to him. I was wondering how to use the TTY function on our phones and if it would benefit him to have one. I googled it and searched other forums but haven't found any info. I know how to put the phone in "Full TTY mode" but I don't know what that does exactly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
