It is good practice to format the internal storage if you installed a lot of cabs there as well. You dont have to do this but it has worked well for me. I was previously on Bear-Bonz and it seemed extremely sluggish. I formatted my internal storage and it was a night/day difference.

another thing you may want to consider is to clear out your program files on internal storage. I do this everytime with the exception of livesearch and one other program. the program files is where alot of the dormant files sit from previous cab installations. I have not had to format the internal storage once.
