Re: TF3D Flip Clock Collection - CMYLXGO & C07

I really like look of the PimpStick clock and want to use it, but with a minor cosmetic change from purple to electric blue, and I think I'm hitting a wall that's more creative than technical.

So far I have Installed the CMYLXGOs.PimpStick.Purple.Transparent.Flip.Clock to my device after uninstalling other clocks and then soft reset; used Total Commander to extract the manila files related to the numbers and the tabs/stacks; opened the manila files in a manila editor, and saved the .pngs to my desktop.

Now, at this point I assumed I would open each .png in something like paint and simply replace the colors; however, upon doing so I find that there's a lot more colors going on in there than basic "purple" as there's all sorts of shading and texturing... is this something I have to change now pixel by pixel? Never really worked with image editing software before, is there an easier way?

---

Edit - I found that in IfranView I could swap the RGB values and retain the original transparency and compression. So the colors look like I wanted on the phone, though there's some... erm... "roughness" around the edges... to give you guys an idea what I mean, here's the screenshot:

Looks ... acceptable with that background, but if I use a little more color things get pretty nasty:

Any ideas?
