Just wanted to point out that many are committing Insurance Fraud, for some reason people don't understand that it is the same thing as filing false claim for your car, house, medical, dental, etc.

Just wanted to add my $0.02 - I went to sprint today to see about getting my touch fixed (the real problem was water dmg as the touch censor went out after phone got wet in my pocket from massive rain) - anyways.. As soon as I walked in the greeter guy handed me the TEP card, and said because my phone shows signs of physical damage (cracked under the power button - part of the known defect) that I would HAVE to go through the TEP - didn't even care that, that wasn't my problem at all, and the phone worked perfectly fine with the crack.
Simply because it showed signs of dmg they wouldn't even look at it.
As stated, just my two cents - and because a) I have water dmg, and b) they (sprint) told me to, I just filed a claim, and should be getting a new Diamond shortly. (though now that I hear about ppl possibly getting a Pro, I might call in and check on that upgrade. Not having SD for my GPS software might suck (if i can't transfer it locally)
